SOAR day (virtual)--august 11th

Soar Day is a one-of-a-kind welcome experience designed for incoming 9th graders to EHS. It is created by upperclassmen students and staff to allow freshmen a glimpse into their new school setting. This year, freshmen will get to see their campus and meet some of their teachers, administrators, counselors and coaches through a virtual scene. We can't wait to meet our new  freshmen and welcome them into our Eagle family! Just because we have to physically distance, does not mean we have to be socially distant. See you on Soar Day!

Invitation links for this event will be sent out soon.

soar day (parents)--Tbd

Soar Day--parents is designed to welcome parents/guardians to EHS. We understand that families want to see their students succeed. We can agree that academic success is a result of families and schools working together.  Through this online event, parents will receive a tour of the campus, meet some of their child’s teachers, administrators, counseling and coaches. Parents/guardians will receive Information regarding EHS expectations, specific school processes, and contact information will also be included.  Together we can make a difference for your freshman!

Invitation links for this event will be sent out soon.

Freshmen Buddy System

Student leaders have created a new "freshman buddy" program called Freshman Flight Training that is all about creating friendships between older and younger peers. The EHS Buddy system will center around building connections, networking, and knowledge sharing with the incoming freshmen. Upperclassmen buddies hope to make them feel welcome, answer questions, and help them navigate EHS culture (both academically and socially).

Athletics

Interested in playing a sport for EHS?

Email the coach to state your interest in trying out. You can find more information for each coach/sport including contact info on the EHS Athletics tab.

NOTE: The Athletic Information Sheet, APS Physical, Athletic & Activity Code, and Concussion Management Course certificate are required to participate in tryouts. Complete and return the forms to your coach by their specified due dates.
